Traces of Mind 2018 - 2024

Ates’ contemplative creative exploration began in 2008 through Shambhala Art and Nalanda Miksang. A Shambhala Art retreat with Steven and Anne Saitzyk in 2018 deepened this inquiry into the relationship between presence, perception, gesture, and the traces of the embodied mind. Her attention shifted from the finished work towards direct experience and the creative process.

L’exploration créative contemplative d’Ates débute en 2008 avec l’Art Shambhala et Nalanda Miksang. Une retraite d’Art Shambhala avec Steven et Anne Saitzyk en 2018 a approfondi cette recherche sur les liens entre la présence, la perception, le geste et les traces de l’esprit incarné. Son attention se déplace de l’œuvre achevée vers l’expérience directe et le processus créatif.
